  • The license is site-wide, meaning any classroom in your school can use it. Classroom equipment kits are designed for a class of 24 students, but more equipment can be added as needed.

  • Yes, we provide PD resources and webinars to prepare educators to teach the curriculum. Teachers also have year-round access to our weekly support hour, led by a NextWaveSTEM educator, to receive additional support as needed.

  • Whether your school is facing a teacher shortage or you simply want to add more support for your current faculty, our WE Teach solution is where we can help you. We send a NextWaveSTEM-trained and vetted mentor to your school to facilitate hands-on learning experiences for your students during in-school or after-school programming. We bring the equipment, the lesson plans, and the fun. You just provide the classroom and the students

 FAQs - Teacher Support and Training

  • No, our curriculum is designed for teachers of all backgrounds. While a passion for STEM is a great place to start, our Professional Development resources provide all the needed background knowledge to support your students.

  • We provide live training, self-paced PD resources, and ongoing support throughout the full year of your subscription.

  • Yes, our team is available for live help and technical support at our weekly Support Hour, where NWS partners are invited to meet with an expert educator.

 FAQs - Equipment and Materials

  • Kits contain all necessary materials for a class of 24 students. Kit contents vary by course but can include technology and supportive materials.

  • Yes, many components can be reused year after year, including robots, 3D printers, vinyl cutting machines, and drones. Additional supplemental equipment, such as prototyping materials and other consumables, may need to be replenished.

  • Many of our courses are device-agnostic. If your school or district already has access to 3D printers, vinyl cutting machines, or laser engravers of any brand, our 3D Design curricula are compatible. If your school or district has Tello drones, mBots, a hydroponic system, or MeowBit consoles, you may not require an equipment kit with your course.   • Some of our courses require no equipment and are ready to be implemented with existing student devices. Courses that require equipment have kits that start at $1000 for a classroom of 24 students.
