Coding mBot-s for a Purpose

Skill Level: Intermediate

This course explores: What can a robot do? and How can it be coded to do so? Through inquiry-based and hands-on learning activities, learners will apply their knowledge of how robots’ function, and code in the mBlockly application to program their own mBot robots for a specific purpose. Hardware required.

Exploration of Drones:
Coding with Tello

Skill Level: Intermediate
This course is an exploration of the applications of drones in the real world. Through a series of inquiry-based and hands-on learning activities, students will integrate algebraic thinking, programmatic knowledge, and use case scenario abstraction to control through the Tello application. This course uses Scratch based coding. Hardware required.

Exploration of 3D Development:
Using Tinkercad

Skill Level: Intermediate

Students will learn how 3D printers work, practical applications of 3D printing, and technical details. Students will learn how to build, orient, cost out, and modify through Tinkercad and use Thingiverse to download items for print, or modify projects created by others. Hardware required.

In “Invention - From Idea to Market", transform students in grades 6-8 from dreamers into doers, guiding them through the thrilling journey of turning a spark of an idea into a market-ready marvel, proving that the path from "Eureka!" to "It's available" is as rewarding as it is inventive.
