NextWave STEM was started in Chicago by former CPS employee Udit Agarwal. Agarwal grew up in India with the hopes of more opportunity, especially in education. When he graduated from NIU, he knew he had to follow his passion for education. He started NextWave STEM and built a diverse team that shares that same passion. Today NextWave STEM Chicago brings more opportunities to more students across Chicago Public Schools and beyond. Providing original, award-winning curriculum and authentic professional development, our team works hard to provide more Chicago schools with the innovative educational experiences they deserve. We want our students to see their potential, and all of the wonderful opportunities STEM has to offer.
