From interactive whiteboards, to computers, to Chromebooks, we cannot deny that technology is always present in the classroom. In most cases, instead of it being used as a learning opportunity, it is currently being used as a tool.
Students may be digital natives, but that is general only in terms of using or consuming technology, not creating it or working with it. No one, not even techy Gen Z, is born with an innate knowledge of coding, programming, or building tech. These skills need to be taught, which is a really exciting opportunity for drones to come in.
Our Drone courses are tailored by grade level and begin as early as kindergarten. Our curriculum is designed so that anyone can teach it effectively, ensuring that every student gets the same learning experience regardless of their teacher’s technological aptitude.
The program is split into four levels, beginning with the introduction to drones leading into the discovery, exploration and then lastly making use of their programming skills to navigate the Tello Drone using the Droneblocks app.
