Offer continuous learning opportunities for your students. NextWave STEM courses can be ESSER funded through the following ESSER line items:

1) Planning for, coordinating, and implementing activities during long-term closures

2) Planning and implementing activities related to summer learning and supplemental after-school programs, including providing classroom instruction or online learning during the summer months

THE CHALLENGE
Addressing Teacher Retention

According to a recent report from Economic Policy Institute, attracting and retaining teachers should be done through: 1) Increasing pay, 2) Elevating teacher voice, 3) Lowering barriers, 4) Designing PD that supports and strengthens teachers’ sense of purpose, career development, and effectiveness. OUR SOLUTION
Intriguing professional development

Private and semi-private classes introduce the history, technical background, current state of elementary and secondary education pipelines, and post secondary industry applications of specific emerging technologies, such as robots, drones and 3D printers. Participants are trained in the emerging technologies, including how to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and utilize in NextWave STEM’s curricula. They also explore the use of such technologies in the context of performance tasks within the curricula. Our goal is for teachers to feel more confident in what they are teaching, and to reignite the passion for teaching using technology that is exciting for both them and their students!

Our all-in-one solution includes the cost of professional development in STEM, as well as curricula and equipment. Everything you need to get started right away!
