Thanksgiving Activity: Cardboard Turkey

Put those Amazon boxes to good use for Thanksgiving by making them into cute cardboard turkeys. This one was made by 3rd grader, Mia.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Print out the patterns for the cardboard. Click here.

2. Cut out the patterns. The thicker the paper, the easier it is to trace.

3. Trace the pattern cut-ours on cardboard. We used a LaCroix box.

4. Cut out the cardboard. If it is box cardboard, please ask a parent or teacher for help.

5. You may choose to color or not color your turkey. Slide the back slits into the slits on the turkey’s body. Make sure to put the smallest one first.

May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and let us give thanks to the blessings we have!

All the best,
