Bundle of: 2 I Pricing: $1,995
For use in Intermediate Learners, grades 6-8, course, “Exploration of 3D Development” using Tinkerkad offered by NextWave STEM.
In this course, students answer questions such as, “What is the Engineering Design process?” and “How can I use it to design in 3D printing for a purpose?” In this course, students explore the applications, technical requirements, and limitations of 3D printing.
Skills Covered: Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Analytical Thinking, Sequential Thought Process, Directional Concepts, Visual Tracking and 2-D to 3-D Correspondence
How it Works: The MiniDelta is small, but mighty. It stands just 15” tall and is less than 10” deep. This is the ideal desktop printer for beginners. It has a very small footprint, a cool appearance, and more importantly, a higher top speed than many of its rivals. This does mean that it’s a touch louder, but it’s still quiet enough to use in a classroom setting. In addition to PLA and ABS, this printer can create models with PETG (the plastic used in drinks bottles) and wood-infused filaments (although this requires a metal nozzle). This gives you much better flexibility in terms of what you can build – perfect for beginners or those looking to push the limits of entry-level 3D printers.
Key Benefits: Help students experience STEM through hands-on activities and experiments while challenging them to think critically, solve problems effectively, and acquire the skills needed to enter STEM-related fields.
